This morning brew tastes like a tropical holiday. It’s too hot this time of year for steaming hot cups of coffee, and this recipe will definitely make you a summertime cold brew convert. Not only is it delicious but it’s also loaded with health benefits. Coffee has been associated with lower rates of diabetes and Alzheimer’s, and the cinnamon in this cold brew provides additional blood-sugar-balancing support.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 cup ground coffee
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 cup coconut flakes

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a large mason jar and let sit in the fridge for 24 hours.
  2. Strain, and keep the filtered cold brew in the fridge for 1 week.
  3. Serve ½ a cup topped with creamy coconut milk and a little extra cinnamon.
