April Jones

April Jones is the founder of the Pinehurst Farmers Market located in the Pinehurst neighborhood of downtown Columbia, South Carolina. April advocates for her community as part of the food justice and food sovereignty movement. She is passionate about community, gardens, and farmer markets. She is a writer, photographer, blogger, Youtuber, recipe developer, book reviewer and more. She contributes content to her blog Frolicking Americana, Columbia Living Magazine and to national magazines Mother Earth, Country Lore, The Natural Farmer, Grit, Ark Republic, and EcoParent. She is also a writer for Farmers Market Coalition, and an Emerging Leader in Food and Agriculture nominee.
