Stephanie Kozak, Founder of Mother Earth's Learning Village is a mom of 4 ranging from 27 to 12 years old and started Mother Earth's Learning Village (MELV) in 2018 with her young daughter as her inspiration. She has been an active participant in creating community programs for children since 1994. After completing her Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, Child Mental Health and Applied Behavioral Analysis certification, Stephanie worked for the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board for 6 years before venturing off to start her own alternative school and community. Justine McKnight, Head of Admissions is a mom of 3 feral children who have been attending Mother Earth's Learning Village since February 2021. She is currently responsible for admissions, marketing and event planning. Prior to joining MELV, Justine was homeschooling and engaging in local activism while also making holistic health products at home. Her newest endeavour is planning and hosting ecstatic dance events in Hamilton as well as women's embodiment workshops.
