Cherry Cheesecake, Anyone? This Healthy Smoothie Recipe Pleases Everyone

A sure sign that spring is here are those glorious cherry trees covered in blossoms! Cherries are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds and go exceptionally well with creamy cashews in this healthy-enough-for-breakfast, but good-enough-to-eat-for-dessert smoothie recipe!

To get super creamy, blendable cashews, soak overnight in a bowlful of water, then strain and add to the mix!

Cherry Cheesecake Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen sweet cherries
  • ⅓ cup cashews, soaked
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

If desired, serve with a few crushed graham crackers on top!

Instructions

  1. Place all your ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend for 1 minute.
  2. Serve with crushed graham crackers or a drizzle of cashew butter.
