Fat bombs aren’t just for the keto crowd: they’re wonderfully satisfying and blood sugar-balancing. These taste like a warming ginger cookie but are loaded with healthy fats, hormone-balancing flax seeds, and antioxidants.
Gingerbread Fat Bombs

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- ⅓ cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp monk fruit sugar
- ½ cup almond flour
- ½ cup ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp sea salt
Substitutions: Instead of monk fruit sugar, try maple syrup or molasses instead!
Instructions
- Add coconut oil, almond butter, vanilla, and monk fruit sugar to a small pot and warm over low heat until melted and well-incorporated. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Mix together flaxseed, salt, spices, and almond flour in a large bowl. Add the slightly cooled almond butter mixture and stir well.
- Use clean hands to roll into small 1-inch balls. Store in the fridge for 1 week.
