Chaga-Infused Apple Cider

Chaga mushroom, also known as the mushroom of immortality, is wonderful for the immune system and contains lots of vitamins and antioxidants. It tastes especially wonderful in this recipe, mixed with seasonal apple cider and extra-warming spices.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tsp powdered chaga mushroom
  • 1 c organic apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 star anise pod

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and cook on the stovetop over medium heat for 15 minutes, until all the flavours are infused.
  2. Strain out the spices and serve with a cinnamon stick garnish.
